about

‘I wonder in which language I will rise my glass tonight’

This song is about traveling and enjoying beauty everywhere. From mid summer adventures, to the transition into the crisp, beautiful winter. We consider ourselves so lucky to be able to travel the world and do what we love as a job and being based in Berlin is a privilege. Europe is and always will be fascinating to two Aussie girls from Sydney. With its extreme contrast between seasons coupled with so many cultures and languages so close together is truly magical and so different to our home country.

lyrics

Feeling free on the highway headed south on the A9
Driving with the windows down and the stereo is up high
After the dark times, the city is coming back to life, to life, to life
I’m out on the road again and I‘m feeling so at home
I never felt a freedom like when I’m on the open road
Pullin up to get gas and I swear I’ve been here before, before, before

I will always dream about the winter in Berlin
I feel the city getting colder
And the snow upon my skin, now I’m
On the Champs-Élysées
Sipping on rosé
Thinking ‘bout where I’ve been
And I can’t wait for this next life to begin

Oooohhhhh Ooooohhhh

Swimming in Lake Geneva to the shores of the Baltic Sea
Coffee in Vienna to the golden arches in Nancy
Down to my last week, then this will all just be a dream, a dream, a dream
Driving through the mountains headed down to Brunico
Dinner in Verona that’s where I found my Romeo
People and places I’ll take them with me when I go, I go, I go

I will always dream about the winter in Berlin
I feel the city getting colder
And the snow upon my skin, now I’m
On the Champs-Élysées
Sipping on rosé
Thinking ‘bout where I’ve been
And I can’t wait for this next life to begin

Oooohhhhh Ooooohhhh

I spoke to a man before he passed
He said his life had gone too fast
And if he had just once more chance
He’d change it all to
Do the things he’d always dreamt
Live a life with no regret
Every word that this man said
I won’t forget

Sitting round the table singing songs by candlelight and I
Wonder in which language I will raise my glass tonight
Got a bottle of wine, new friends good times
Don’t wanna have to say goodbye
But in this moment let us cheers to this good life

I will always dream about the winter in Berlin
I feel the city getting colder
And the snow upon my skin
I’m on the Champs-Élysées
Sipping on rosé
Thinking ‘bout where I’ve been
And I can’t wait for this next life to begin

Oooohhhhh Ooooohhhh

Oooohhhhh Ooooohhhh
