This song was written shortly after I returned to Europe after my father died. I'd been living in Berlin for a few years at that point, and had gone home to Australia to be with him in the last weeks of his life. In doing so, my life had been turned upside down, and returning to what felt like a different city after several months away felt daunting.

Writing this song was something of self therapy, a song to say that I was strong and ready for new challenges.
