This song is about a whirlwind relationship which was over before it really began. The song begins as a nostalgic look back at a moment in time. It tells the story of a few evenings in London, where I realised all the lies that had been told, by the other person to me and by me to myself. The message of the song is that although it didn't feel like it at the time, I'm better off for having left it behind.
